THE 6 BULLET POINTS:
- We all make mistakes from the same point-of-view: scarcity
- Scarcity is a NATURAL HUMAN STATE OF BEING = we all feel it
- Your karma (or “path”) is your own; not ANYONE ELSE’S
- Your karma is to live your life, let other people live theirs
- Focus on your freedom, they will find their own
It’s probably a phrase you never thought about, but Karma Thieves are real, and you’re one of them. It’s part of our possessive, safety seeking, human nature. As people, we are continually seeking desires that mesmerize us into believing that the only way to get what we want is to control the people around us.
So why do we need to control others? Why do you, or I, act with such selfish abandon for the fates of our peers? Why do we get such satisfaction from pushing the hand of other people’s lives into our corner and making sure that their efforts go to better serve our desires more then anyone else’s, even their own?
Why should I get to live more truth and desire than anybody else, or vice versa?
As I sit here now, with a moment to think, in clarity, there’s a part of me that’s jealous because my choices put me out of context with the pleasures, and desires that other people seek. The controlling, and misaligned part of my consciousness wants to say something shitty in the ear of every one I’m around daily, in hopes that I can push them to make decisions to favor how I will feel for just a moment. If I truly seek my own pleasure, and path (at the cost of not hurting others) above anyone else’s road-to-self, how could I not allow other people that same right? Frequently the answer to the last question is, “easy, just rationalize and all will become excusable when you get you’re own way.”
Fuck.
Our karma and our work is unique to each of us. Its individual and completely necessary for our growth in this world. That means YOU, but it also means your girlfriend, or your boyfriend, or your mom, or dad, or brother, or the girl at the bar, or the guy in line at the DMV who’s taking forever. They all have the same exact right you do to both knowingly and unknowingly see out the opportunities and events in their lives that lead them to their lessons and their growth. If you’re still on the trip that everyone should be operating with you as their prime target, well, thats you’re karma. It’s still not their karma though, so try your best to get out of their fucking way.
